As much as I always love Cindy’s work, when she’s inspired by a handmade ceramic succulent pottery by Donna Davis Taylor — it’s magic! With this succulent arrangement, it’s almost hard to tell where the pot ends and the plants begin!
Repeating the shape of the flower decoration on the pot, Cindy placed two, rosy lavender Echeveria Perle von Nurnberg as the focal point of the arrangement. The mahogany tones of Kalanchoe tomentosa Chocolate Soldier, Cremnosedum Little Gem and Crassula marnieriana Jade Necklace repeat the shading of the glaze that overlays the gunmetal grey of the pot. The sprays of bright yellow Cremnosedum Little Gem adds so much energy to this sweet arrangement!
I am honored to have Cindy Davison plant her amazing creations in my pottery! She has been my inspiration for many years.
Hi Donna,
Cindy and I both LOVE your work! I’m looking forward to watching her take one of your handmade ceramic pots, describe her inspiration, go shopping with her for the succulents and experience her entire succulent design process! 🙂
